 WSN Director Wins CO3 Award

At the recent CO3 Leadership Voyage Conference 2010 and Voyager Awards held in the City Hotel, Derry, Patricia Haren (Director WSN) picked up the award for ‘Leading a Smaller Organisation’ sponsored by Lloyds TSB Foundation. The Awards which were hosted by television presenter Donna Traynor, saw leaders across 11 different categories being recognised for their outstanding contribution within the charitable sector.

Majella McCloskey (CO3) stated that the Voyager Awards were a celebration of the exceptional leadership that has been shown in the service of the community and that it is heartening to see such great work across a variety of charities with the leader of a homeless charity, a community arts group and an organisation which campaigns for children with autism amongst others being honoured.  She further highlighted the commitment of those nominated for awards commenting on their dedication to making a difference to communities in need.
